BM Griptilian scales custom

Sweet! I'm still patiently awaiting the arrival of mine. Looks like it got caught up in the Christmas mail rush as it shipped since Dec 19th. Last update I'm seeing on the package tracker website is Dec 30th. I'd stopped EDCing my Mini Grips for a while until last year when I got my Benchmade low rider clips and installed them.

Fit and finish are superb and he even sent along a few extra screws which is a nice touch. I simply could NOT be happier!! My mini-grip just became my favorite EDC knife.

That looks really nice. I ordered the same configuration as yours except I went with green liners and standoffs instead of blue.

Can't wait til they get here:)

Sounds like you made a great choice. I can assure you, you won't be disappointed and I like your color scheme. I have found myself pulling my knife out just to fondle and play with it while I'm just sitting on the couch. Just loving it!

I've been thinking about green for another set in the future. :)
 
sent you an email and a PM. Im really liking the idea of the earth G10 with the pattern and then toxic green liners with green anodized clip and standoffs. I haven't carried my Griptilian since I bought it and I think this could be the answer!
 
Well I got my scales on Wed Jan 7th (yesterday), put them on when I got home and man, they're sweet! Awesome job Igor! BTW can you give me the specs for the stand-off screws? You're right they're too long for the other scales so I need to look around for some shorter ones so I can put them on my other Mini Grip.
For those awaiting their scales, it took mine from Dec 19th to Jan 7th to arrive in Toronto. I'll try to get some pics posted up on the weekend (or as soon as I get some time).
 
Will one set of your scales fit all mini griptilians, or do i need to specify blade type (Ritter, tanto, etc.) when I order? thanks very much!

Scales for mini fits for any knife from mini Griptilians family, for mini D.Ritter too
 
Ive got a set of the way. Igorded was very professional and had the scales out quickly. It will probably be at least another week before they arrive. Im pretty stoked. I plan on picking up a 550 and having Igorded make a set of canvas Micarta scales
 
Also got a set of griptillian scales for a BM 551 headed my way.Igor had them ready and shipped, within the week as quoted.
 
Got mine this weekend:
Silver twill anso + moonglow liners + light blue spacers

Couldn't be happier; the pattern looks better in person as well as the glow (hard to capture in pics).

Got my scales from Igorded today. They're magnificent, 140% better and cooler than the stock plastic rubbish. The fit and finish was perfect, and the shipping was quick and problem free. Thanks for the transaction.

Can anyone with the g-10 scales that have the anzo or other textured pattern comment on if it is rough on the pants pockets or difficult to extract from the pocket?

Mine are the G10 Anso pattern and all edges are smooth. Not rough on pants at all and not difficult to clip or unclip from pocket. I've been EDCing this daily including in the office since getting it. This puts the Grip into a totally different class now!
 
I'm currently waiting on a set of scales. Has anyone on here experienced extrememly long shipping times or problems to the US?
 
Just got my scales in from Igor.The scales fit like a glove. Definitely better than the original plastic handles,these add a solidness.
