I'll miss Bob, he treated me well. He was always a straight forward honest businessman. My heart and prayers go out for his family and friends.

That's sad news. Bob holds a special place with me in my start in the Traditional arena with a very special knife. Even more special now.

That is sad to hear. I had very good dealings with him. My prays to his family.

My condolences to his family, smoke up and prayers goin' out for his friends and family, Bob was a good guy, I had limited interactions with him but usually read his posts, he'll be missed RIP.

This is sad to hear. Bob was a very good man and I have no doubt that he is home where he belongs. I will be praying for his family's comfort and peace through this. Thank you for the information.

If you would like to send his wife a card or memorial, the address is:

Got to speak with the man once several months back when he was still active. Seemed a fine gentleman. I am sure he will be missed by his wife and family and those that new him best.

Very sad to hear of Bob's passing. He was a gentleman first and businessman second. He sold me my first GEC and several later. I once asked for a favor and told him I would like to pay him in advance and he told me "no." I asked why and I'll never, ever forget these words of kindness and I quote he said "Just Because." A man who lived and did things the Right way. A good man, gone. Rest, Bob. A friend.

I'm pretty new at this and Bob sold me my first plus a couple more GEC's as well. Always kind and professional. Prayers for his family.

Just read Charlie's post about Bob in Carl's Lounge. My condolences for Bob's family. I've purchased several knives from Bob and always was pleased with the service but also his appreciative messages from him on the receipts.

Just got home and thought it fitting to carry one I purchased from Bob, a black linen micarta Bull Nose. R.I.P. Bob:thumbup:

My sincere condolences to the family. I never had any dealings with Bob, but we are all members of the same community. We are all bound by steel. May he rest in peace.

I've known Bob a little over the years, since I bought some GEC's at Oldhundredcollectibles.

RIP Bob. :( I bought from Bob several times over the years.
I hate hearing news like this. It makes me dwell on my situation too much. :(

Bob was a straight shooter and took good care of me as a customer. Wish I would have had a chance to meet him in person, he seemed like a colorful character.
