Bob Andrews - Old Hundred Collectibles passed away

So sad to hear. I was concerned when he stopped updating his blog.

Wow. I'm completely stunned. Bob was an upstanding vendor and member of the Porch. My sincerest condolences to his family. Rest in peace, Bob.

Bob was my go-to guy for GEC knives and was great to converse with by email. will be missed for sure.
May he RIP.

I did not know Bob and it looks like I missed a good man. My condolences to his family and friends. I just said a prayer that he easily find his way

Very sad. I had talked to Bob via email several times, and he ALWAYS did right by me. He was truly a Traditional Knife Man through and through.

RIP Bob, and my sincere condolences to his family at this time of great loss.

Saddened by this news. I had bought several knives from Bob, including several SFOs. He always treated me right, and I felt he always bent over backwards to make sure I was taken care of. I didn't always agree with his point of view, but I always respected the man. Prayers will be said for his family.

Never knew or dealt with Bob but from what is posted here sounds like he was a great guy. Always a sad day when we lose one of the great ones in our little world. Prayers for his family.

I am very sad to hear this so soon after Bob had posted positive news of his condition.

I bought my first GEC from Bob and he really looked after me. I would like GEC to issue a special knife or special run to commemorate him.

I'm very sad to hear this. Like many I've purchased knives from Bob. I recall having a very pleasant conversation with him and walking away impressed with not only his knowledge and passion for pocket knives, but as someone I'd like to get to know better.
My condolences to his family. I know the traditional knife community will morn him also.
Rest in peace Bob.

Bob was one of my main dealers. He's the one who was able to procure my first TC Barlow, along with several other SFO's. I never did get to meet the man in person but we did talk about knives quite a bit over email. I found it pretty interesting when he told me that he wasn't really a collector. I had always figured the dealers cherry picked for themselves first. Hey, that's what I would do! Bob told me that what he enjoyed was getting the knives to other folks who appreciated them.

Bob always dealt straight with me and his insights were a pleasure to read. I always enjoyed his contributions to the forum. He will be missed.

RIP Bob.

I meet and talked with Bob at the 2015 Rendezvous. I had bought several knives from him and was always pleased with each purchase. In person he was just the kind of person that you could sit and talk to for hours, a true knife lover at heart.
My condolences to Bob's family. RIP Bob!

I am very sad that Bob has passed away, I pray for all the best to his family to get through this difficult time.
My wife and I met Bob at the 2015 G.E.C. Rendezvous and picnic, He was a friendly and interesting guy to talk with.
I bought a G.E.C. knife from him, now it will have even more of a special meaning in my collection.
Rest in Peace Bob.

Ive done business with Bob, never spoke to him, because my orders went smoothly, in fact one of my latest orders was from him as well. Sounds like he was a pretty great guy and will be sorely missed!

Sorry to hear of his passing. Never spoke with him directly, but bought a couple of my GEC knives through him. I'm sure he's enjoying the front porch in the sky.

Bob will be missed. Always a pleasure to deal with and I really appreciated his perspective and opinions. Prayers for his family.

Have 9 GEC knives, all bought from Bob Andrews. Spoke w/ him on several occasions; a gentleman and a pleasure to do business with.
Rest in peace, good sir, rest in piece.

I didn't deal exclusively with Bob, but the handful of GECs I bought were perfect transactions - almost always getting the knife next day!

Although I unfortunately never met him in person, I was fortunate enough to have some interaction over email - enough to tell he was a good man. My condolences to his family.
