Boker/Carothers collaboration coming soon?

Forgive me…wise guy here. I’m so glad this group bought the knives Nathan designed with our troops in mind. Now they are left with rat tail tangs…great job guys. 🤣🤣

That is awesome, it really is and I am very happy for you in addition to eating crow when you get yours. After seeing one in person with the package which it is presented in, I think that for every order which BHQ is going to fill on this iteration, they are going to lose $, or someone at BökerUSA will have their are handed to them for pledging a low price point to BHQ! Even at the original Böker price of $177.95, there was not much meat left on that bone 🤷‍♂️

I agree 100%.. I was actually expecting to see a refund for the 5 dollar deposit

It seems impossible to provide that kind of quality at that price, it’s just mind blowing.
 
I placed a pre-order with Boker, then saw Blade HQ had them for $50 less so I emailed Boker to cancel my order and placed an order with Blade HQ. I guess they didn't get the memo... my preorder from Boker showed up yeserday and now my Blade HQ preorder is being delivered today. I guess it can't hurt to have 2 :cool:
 
Can one of you guys with the new Boker confirm that it fits in the UF2’s kydex sheath?

My buddy who is not a knife guy ordered one of these Bokers and I was going to send him one of my UF2 sheaths because he will be absolute hell on the leather sheath the Boker comes with. He spends lots of time getting wet fishing and fukin around on his boat, plus he will swim through a swamp to shoot a pig, he needs Kydex.

It should work okay
 
With the limited numbers made and the fact that these (to my knowledge) are not sold at the PX/NX on base, I'm going to assume few if any end up in the hands of anyone serving. Hopefully Boker decides to make a simpler version with no presentation box, kydex instead of leather and can get them into the PX/NX system.
