Boker/Carothers collaboration coming soon?

IMHO, if you are among the very few lucky ones who had bought one, a couple or a few OG UFs (3V or Elmax) back in the lean Nathan years for ~ 300ish, there is no point in acquiring one of these other than sheer novelty factor. OTOH, at the price point, even elevated to $219 with regards to the UF2's prices in the secondary, these may still make sense with this presentation package (feels heavier and the handles more hard rubber-ish, needless to say!). Now imagine the intrinsic value of CPKs if Nathan was retailing 'em like this 🤣

Here is mine, #1181:

This thing is awesome. Disclaimer, I’ve never handled the previous knives.

The design is very good and I worked with them to get the balance correct too. It is an outstanding knife. Obviously the steel and heat treat on the real thing is a little better, but these are going to be plenty good enough for their intended purpose for a lot of people and I think it offers a lot of bang for the buck. One of the best values out there, in my opinion. These are soooo much better, in every meaningful way, than a lot of the stuff that troops carry.
