Boker/Carothers collaboration coming soon?

I find it strange to have Asia listed versus the country where made. I recently looked at Boker knives which had the actual country listed, such as Germany and China.

For the record it looks like a great knife,great design, from great people.....
My questioning comment wasn't even for the geographical location, but how vague it was.

They do limited production runs of signature pieces by various knife designers. There's an entire series of knives like this.

They contacted me, and I liked the idea for this particular pattern.

I am being compensated but it is a small amount, it's not why I did this. This was an experiment for me, collaborating with them like this, with one of the goals being exposure to a different audience and also making this particular pattern more accessible.

We shall see.

For those wondering about the Blade HQ posted blade length of 4.9”, I’ve seen them measure the sharpened edge and use that figure, adding in the choil and tang should fill in the discrepancy!
