For the record, the agency that worked with the propmaster for QOS is in the UK, not Hollywood. They contacted BLACKHAWK/MOD/me and requested a number of MOD autos to consider for the film. In addition to the Triton, they looked at the CQD Mark I, the Mark II, and the MPAK before settling on the Triton.
Also, BLACKHAWK has decided to discontinue the Triton. All the dagger versions have already sold out and are in the hands of distributors/dealers. There are still tanto-bladed versions in stock, but there will be no more production. BLACKHAWK's CEO doesn't consider the knife a true field knife (no auto OTF really is), so he opted to remove it from the line.
