So I have a BK12 headed my direction, should receive it Monday. I've never handled that particular knife, but do own a 10 and a 7, the 7 has been my all time favorite full size Becker, I just have a feeling the 12 could be a new favorite.
Any of you guys have love for the 12?
I look forward to it....
Confession: I still don't have a two.
All you need to do is get yourself to a gathering. Ka-Bar always seems to send 2's.....
Mmmmm, new luuuuuures. Nothing like new lures! I'm heading out of town in a few minutes to get some new lures among other things. I was going to go yesterday, but I ended up meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen in almost 10 years. We went out and got in 8 hours of fishing and catching up. We caught a ton of pike and each managed limit of walleye. We had to work for them, but it was fun. I also managed a helluva sun burn.

Civil War tomorrow. Kids can't wait.
No, Deadpool is the best super hero movie
How old is the rope? If it was properly stored, you should be ok. The currrent reccomdations in terms of climbing rope life expectancy is about 10 -15 years if the rope has never been used and has been stored properly. What dia?
Very cool looking blade 710. I like it a lot.
HAHA!!! Yea man if you save money on normal price, and its something you want, its mandatory to buy it ASAP.... At least thats what i always try and tell the wife... After i spend the money LMAO
Bow fishing is LOADS of fun!! I only shot 2, and one i didnt manage to get into the boat. He slipped off. But Curt shot and landed several. He also shoots bows a lot, hunts with bows and all, and im not much of a bow person...I like shooting them, just not that good at it... I missed A LOT!!!! You cant shoot straight at the fish, have to shoot under it and account for the arrow curving back up. Took some getting used to for sure. But ill be doing a lot more of it. Even when you miss its FUN. You see the fish, and can tell how close you are getting, makes it very exciting.
Just in case anyone is wondering why i am wearing glasses at night, polarized glasses were needed, day and night. the light causes a reflection and you cant see the fish very well without them. Not a fashion statement... LOL

I need to see it still. I might look for a copy to watch tonight after the kids to to bed.
May 10th release date on dvd/blu-ray. you'll want to watch it in all the glory and again and again, and the extras, and keep it from the kids![]()
Here I thought you were trying to be Corey Hart.....
Actually, you have to aim under them because the water bends the light differently than air - so that fish you're looking at is not ACTUALLY directly in your line of sight. Also has to do with the angle you're looking at as well - if you're shooting straight down, there's no adjustment needed. I tried to bowfish as a kid....with no success. Had a homemade rig made from a tuna can bolted onto my 1970's Bear recurve. I wasn't a very good shot, plus the carp I was trying to shoot tend to inhabit some muddy water....basically, I wasn't any good at it. But it still looks like fun.
This is a pretty simple explanation, I think:
