Boosay is broken...SO SAD

Glad to hear Boosay made it through. :D

Its almost tougher than kids because they cant talk to you and you cant explain it to them. But dogs are cool - even if (lord forbid) she looses her leg - they just shrug it off. No remorse and I have known some darn fast three legged dogs in my life. Again they are cool - once healed she will be up and around more than ever ...

And when she is better, that cat should be warned - Boosay it going to be BRINGING IT!!:D:thumbup:

.

hey sis give her some pabst:thumbup:, that usualy work's for my growing pains.

really i'm glad she is ok, send my love.

My brothers jack russel dog lost its leg after being hit by a car & it only slowed down, till it got well & then within a month it was running all over the place on three legs. dogs are tough, all they require is love. Boosay will be alright !!!!

That's a shame, I know that we would also be heartbroken if that happened to our dog. :(

Dogs are remarkably resilient; my wife's sister has a dog that suffered a run-in with a car that left him with three legs, and he does amazing, still runs and jumps so well you have to look twice to see.

Hang in there Amy. Hope Boosay isn't suffering to much. If she does lose the leg, maybe Jerry can fashion some INFI prosthetic for her.

That's heartbreaking news Amy, but she sounds like a little fighter. Best wishes for the both of you.

OMG Amy! I'm so sorry to hear that!! Bloody hell! Love and hugs and positive thoughts being sent from us in Oz to Boosay. Murray sends his slobbery love too. There's actually mystical healing agents in his slobber ;) So she will be fine :)

We hope you're doing ok with everything you have on your plate.

Lotsa love from us. xxx

Nooooo! Boosay, you stay still and get well right quick! Momma's gonna take good care of you, so just take it easy and heal up. ;)
Amy - give me a call if you need to talk. I know she'll be okay. With you to take care of her she has it easy. :)
Smoke going up from MN.

XOXOX

Ahhhhhhhh, that just sucks!! Glad the surgery went ok though and I hope she does well and recovers. I've seen many three legged dogs and they get around just fine!

Take care Amy and have a nice cold Coors Light and relax sweety!

Jon

I hope I were able to say people should not be too influenced by their pets.
But I could not stop tears coming out from my eyes when I lost my border colie.
So I am in no position to tell any pet owners to take it easy.

Sorry to heat this!

You know my friends (both vets in different states) both say that any cat or dog with 4 legg is just a pet with two spares!

Many dogs and cats get around just fine with three legs, and some with only two legs.

How the crap did your doggie hurt her leg so bad inside? Did she drop a KZII on her toe?

Amy-O, sorry to hear about your Boosay. Hope she gets well soon, there is nothing worse than watching our furry kids suffer. They can't tell you what's wrong, or what hurts. Prayers go out for you and your Boosay.

There's a troubling history here with Amy's cat, Willie B. . . . . Willie used to be the Busse Combat Shop Cat. . . The local Sheriff's Dept. knew him by name after he set off his share of alarms at 3:00 in the morning by jumping up onto some of the motion detectors. All in all though, he acted more like one of the guys in the shop than a cat. In short order, Amy pretty much adopted Willie and made him the "upstairs office mascot" where he would hang out all day with the girls of Busse Combat.

It wasn't long after being spoiled rotten by the girls upstairs that the shenanigans began! . . . . Anytime one of the guys would leave Amy's office, Willie would wait for them to get on the stairs and then he would help them along their way by jumping up on the back of their legs and giving them a shove down the steps!!!

Oh sure, we fired a few .50 BMG rounds at him from my office, but that cat was quick and it seemed like nothing would deter him! . . . It also turned out that the .50 BMG rounds weren't too good on the steps either!!! ;)

Finally, after a few months of "Staircase Ninja Attacks", it was decided that Wilbur needed to go before someone really got hurt. Amy decided to take him home and the office stairs became a lot safer at the Busse Compound.

Now, I know that I'm just speculating, but I think Ol' Willie B. is up to his old tricks and probably launched a "Staircase Ninja Attack" on little Boosay!!!

Seems like the only solution to the problem is for Amy and Mr. 0 to move into a ranch home with no basement!!!. . . . No stairs. . . No problem!!!!

Here's to a quick recovery for Boosay!

Cheers!

Jerry :D

Oh, poor dog! I hope she'll get over this and will be alright! Wish you the very best luck with that.
