That EK looks so freaking good cannot stand it... I really want them to put out an EK Bowie soon... I'll be getting one of those!

Today my wife's uncle asked me to do some work to a couple of his knives. One is the KA-BAR Combat Kukri, a really neat knife... He also sent me with his KA-BAR USMC, which I believe was the knife he carried during his time in the Marines. Knife blade has been taken care of and looks decent, the handle has been naturally darkened from hand oils what not, the sheath is still together but is in desperate need of some tlc. Should be a lot of fun!

About 30 minutes outside gainesville. The 911 address and mailing zip code are in Archer technically, but we pay taxes to the town of Bronson, and the kids will go to school in Bronson. We're like right in the middle....

If your asking about the internet situation... There are a few ISPs that service both those small towns.... We have called a 6 or 7 today... But it looks like we are in a dead zone for all of them that we called.

I have one. Like most Condor products the quality is satisfactory for the price but the edge needs thinning. I'm going to sell mine just because I have a bunch of blades and I would like to consolidate.

Being in the boonies does suck for access. I tried the Tmobile cell phone access route - too expensive esp when you go over the monthly "limit". Tried HughesNet (satellite) - it worked, but we kept having "access difficulties" for some unexplained reason. Then we got on with a fixed site wireless company - the signal comes from an antenna on a water tower about 7 or 8 miles away (used to come from a 400 ft tall radio tower 11 miles away).

Access is pretty good most of the time. Lightning strikes during thunderstorms sometimes takes it down for a while.

on the link search above, the SVIC company may be similar to ours. When I clicked on the service availability link, it came up dead. Usually these providers have a map that shows the coverage limits for a given tower set.
