I also had some fun today working in the garage. Got a little bit more done on this beast of a thing I may be able to call a knife done. Also I used a bi-product from that beast (a metal cutting sawzall blade) to make another knife (pictures will come when I can find the cord to hook the phone up to the computer).

So went a played with quite a few blades today. Nothing extensive but a nice little shakedown. Unfortunately I hadn't charged my camera batteries so there's not much footage. Then I went by Obie's Fillin' Station. If you're ever near Colorado City, Colorado you should stop in. I probably don't need to say it but try the smoked jalapeno cheddar elk sausage.

Thanks guys, shouldn't be to bad, except for the timing sucks. Probably won't be able to get a job until I'm off crutches. Also have NOAC at the end of the month that I won't be able to walk around much, and to top it off I have an eagle project I need to get done.

Good news Is though, it'll be arm day for the next hew weeks, I'm ready to get swol

TBL, I might rig up my crutches, you know, laser on one side, flashlight on the other. Throw a red dot on the top, maybe even a becker bayonet, I'LL BE UNSTOPABLE !!!

moving around on crutches can be one of the best ab workouts around.
come labor day weekend when you can finally ditch them, you will be like a block of iron!

Good luck with the surgery. Make sure you get the crutches adjusted properly. That's the thing most folks screw up. They think the armpits should take the weight, The arms should. The crutch tops should be about 2 inches SHORT of your armpits when standing up straight with the crutch tips on the ground about 6" to 8" to the side of your feet. Whatever you do, follow the rehab instructions. Nearly every time, when someone bitches about the therapy not helping, they're not doing it and/or not doing it right.

Been there - I was on crutches (the first time) for 6 weeks 1x back in college - slow pitch softball injury. Good news was it built up my arms and abs for pull-ups/push-ups/sit-ups for our ROTC PFT - barely passed the run though,,, passed that with 2 seconds to spare - 3 miles in 29m 58 seconds. Not my best performance;

Busy day, didn't make it in to check out the biscuits and porn. Hope to go driving on the beaches tomorrow if they don't hassle me when I go to get the permit.
Bringing some blades with me so I'll make sure to snap some pics. Going down to Okracoke in a few days, that'll be the best off reading there. Not like 4wheeling but just the scenery and places inaccessible to most folks without 4wd.
