Best burger I've ever had was from a small diner in a little town in Michigan, ND. Big, juicy, tasty burger with a really good bun, good cheese, and nice thick cut bacon. Dunno what they did to make it so good, but i had it every day for a week and a half when we were working on a fertilizer plant there and it was awesome every time.

A Sonic burger w/ mayonaise, tater tots, and a cherry limeaid...ohhhh yeaaahhh.

True, I don't know how many of you have been to stillwater, but there's a place (Eskimo joes) who makes a really good burger. And in Tulsa there a small root beer stand, (webbers) who also makes a great burger

the only place I eat in Tulsa is The Burn Co.
they have their own in-house butcher whose idea of fun is creating new types of sausage to mix up in different ways to make "fatties" (which I used to call bacon bombs)
for example: take a homemade hot link, roll it in chorizo (or andouille), then roll that in shredded cheese, then wrap it in another kind of sausage, then cover it all with a bacon weave and then smoke it over hardwood charcoal for hours..........

I might have to go there next time I'm in town. And I highly reccomend webbers, at least for their root beer it's delicious. And if you ever feel like trying something new, the brook on brookside has really good food as well. It's the main place we eat when we go

I'll probably be crucified for this, but everyone I'm in the states the FIRST place I HAVE to go to is IHOP. We don't do pancake houses in Aus, dunno why, we love an all day breakfast. I usually try to eat as little on the plane as possible so I'm super freakin hungry by the time we land, which conveniently, is usually around breakfast time. So once I'm at IHOP I order a spastic amount of food and feel full/sick for the better part of the morning. Until we pass something like a Sweet Tomatoes. I haven't had the pleasure of trying a disgustingly delicious burger like that one Dubz had. In 20yrs time when I can afford to come back over I'll hunt me down one..

Um question. Do you guys put beetroot on your burgers over there? Aussies friggin love their beetroot (not me though funnily enough)..

Oh, and Daiz, love the logo. It's gold! (Urgh, that was terrible, I know :foot: )

Dude, IHOP sucks. Go to pretty much any random cafe or diner and they'll have better food. Many have all-day breakfast too. And no, we don't put beetroot (we just call them beets here) on our burgers.

love me some IHOP.
ignore the man likely suffering from Oxygen deprivation. ;)

Sweet climbing gym!

Yummy looking burger!

Nice makers mark!

The father in-law called me up this morning and invited me and the kids up north to take the boat out for a spin. We get there and realised that he forgot the keys at home. So we spent a few hours fishing while he hot-wired his own boat :D My son got the only fish of the day, a little bass that was about 3-4 lbs.

Me holding it after removing it from the hook.

Then we went for a boat ride. Came back and I bbq'd burgers for lunch. Took this shot while I was cooking

All in all, a good day. I'm tired

Nice looking bass! What lake?

Is that your wall, Gus?

Yep. That's just the 40-degree wall. At the upper right hand corner you can just see the steeper 55-degree wall. It's just shy of 16-feet in length. The other walls are less steep (10, 15 and 30-degrees) and we also have a massive campus board. It's a good space.

I'm a big fan of cracker barrel

I agree with all three posts above.

Not sure how you can agree with all 3, since bigghoss hates IHOP in one and 1066vik says to ignore hoss... I would agree that hoss is likely oxygen deprived living up there in Colorado...

For me, the best breakfast is Waffle House. I love me some scattered, smothered and covered hash browns! I have heard that the Gunyon is banned from Waffle House due to an unfortunate incident involving a Storm Trooper costume... :D

Damn, Gus. That's a mighty fine private wall!

Well, if you're in Colorado, go to Snooze, not IHOP. You can thank me later. Magnolia Pancake Haus here in Texas is pretty darn good. Not sure how big of a chain it is, but it's a damn sight better than IHOP also. The Egg and I isn't bad either, but not as interesting as the others.

He can agree with them because it's the snark thread and that's what you do. And because IHOP sucks. And you can't not have a 9.

Would someone please fix the multi-quote?

My BK4 is in town. If it comes in by 3pm this afternoon that should give me plenty of time to go and do a first impressions video.

Nice wall.
Do you have any slab? Personally I think slab makes for the most creative and interesting problems, but not really the most intensive.
