Gus, congratulations on your new place and your new adventure. I've been remiss in answering your last email, and I'll remedy the lag later today.
Between work and youth baseball, I haven't been climbing much at the gym, but I hope to get back in a rhythm next week.
I am going to meet up with a friend and do some rappelling tomorrow, weather permitting.

BTW, that pipe/relaxation station rocks!

No worries, I suspected that you might be busy. Where are you guys going rappelling? Get some pics.

NO BEANS in the chili, Beans can be served on the side with the chili and Chilled watermelon!!!! :D
This reminds me.... The wife found a yellow watermelon, cut it up and put it in a bowl. Don't take a bite of yellow watermelon thinking it is pineapple.

So, you go to this place in Chicago called Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinders. You order meat sauce, no mushrooms and then you wait. After you wait for a while you get brought out this thing that looks odd... Very odd...

And you think... This is a pizza?! WHAT THE!!! I was ripped off!

Then they flip it over and you realize "ok, that looks more like what I think a pizza looks like" and it does... Sorta

So then you say "Screw it... Let me try this thing it can't be all that" and you cut into it

OH SWEET JEEBUS! This thing was amazing!
Pizza Pot Pie from Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinders (at 2121 N. Clark...)

OMG! That thing looks incredible. Not sure I could finish one on my own. It sounds/looks like you are having a good time. How long are you in Chicago?

That was just the half pounder, I didn't want to waste! Heading to Springfield in about 2 hours to spend the afternoon in the pool with Miss and then back to St. Louis tonight.

It was absolutely amazing!

If I had to choose between looking at pretty can art & drinking beer vs. looking for/at Todd.....

Went to the cabin early yesterday, for an overnighter, and to use the BK5 for the first time. Got to use it some, but got sick and came home. Got back about 1:30am. Not sure what the dealio was. I did get stung by a red wasp 6 times. As soon as I got out of my truck, a wasp started kamikaziing my head. Never did that before. They're always on the porch, and have never bothered me. I put the first load in the cabin, came back out, and it started doing it again. Broke out the wasp spray, and sprayed the hell out of them. Later on in the evening, another started attacking me, stung me on my arm, and somehow ended up in my shirt, and stung me 5 more times. Little bastard. Hurt like hell, but I'm sure it was comical watching me throw my shirt off and start stepping on it, haha. I googled a bit about the red wasp, and it appears they weren't much of a threat, but have since been attacking people. Here's one instance: http://www.whatsthatbug.com/2009/03/11/red-wasps-2/

Years ago, I was performing a delivery in waist deep water just off Shell Island, and I looked up and saw about a 3' to 4' shark cruising the surf.
Things sped up from there.

Rofl I could only imagine!

Sorry about the spilled coffee Gus :D

Damn Cbear that pie looks amazing! Whats the biggest on you could of gotten?

That sucks Warrior! hope those stings heal up real quick for ya.

Wasps are a-holes. I say burn it down and start again from scratch.

I went to Wally and purchased some sting medicine. Definitely still have some marks.

Not a bad idea. The wife and I talked about one day building an a-frame on the side of the hill there, and keeping the current cabin as a guest house. Probably never happen, but fun to talk about anywhos. BTW, the BK5 is a freakin' beast.

That Chicago pie does look fairly tasty. I'll never look at it again after watching Jon Stewart's epic battle with Chicago over the pizza though. I thought that was hilarious.

For those of you with lots of high amp tools working from home, how do you manage connecting all your stuff? I just picked up a new dust collector, and it draws too much power by itself to run off the same outlet as the rest of my stuff, particularly if I want the grinder or mill running at the same time. Ideally I'd like both dust collectors and the grinder or mill or drill press to be running simultaneously, but I don't want too much draw on the garage circuit or I'll blow motors, and that sucks.
