Bose Knives

The Case-Bose collaboration knives are a separate series and are issued individually on an annual basis. They generally feature upgraded steel (ATS-34), scales and more individual handwork making them approach the level of a semi-custom knife.

The other knives, while Bose patterns, are not given the same level of materials, fit and finish (generally speaking).

Hadn't been too many new ones put up in a while, so...........

I know that older knife. Never owned it, but know a few people who did and it has been in the hands of some good folks. :D

Even though the swedges are not there, it is awesome and shows how long Tony has been making a fine knife.

Yea, it has definitely been well used...around 25 years of use I would suppose. But it still fillets a bass as well as the first day it was made (as I found out today while playing hooky from work).

Glad that it arrived and glad that you like it. It is truly a classic and i love that it is seeing the light of day - being put to the use for which it was intended!!

See ya in a few weeks. Let me know if I can lend a hand with anything.

Ha. You just know the date so well because you have to call your foot soldier early that morning to make sure she picks up your knife (good plan if you ask me). But yea, I was anxious.

Actually, that is my son's birthday, I had best not forget that date. That is why I called in for help to niece. Sent her Nice Ben for the trouble.:D

With my intervention near complete,I have noticed something, about these knives from the fantastic & legendary Tony & Reese Bose
Take a good look through the pages, can you spot, what it took me a while to see?
Besides a lot of the best knives a slipjoint guy could ever want.
Have a safe & happy Mothers Day today,
-Vince

Look at Reese' 2 bladers & Tony's,here in Ed's picture
boseSwaybacks.jpg

See it now?

Vince, if my eyes aren't playing tricks, it looks like the position of the pen blade to the main blade is opposite from father to son, with Reese's pen blade being on the shield side. Is that what you're referring to?
