Bose Knives

Now I'm lost but still digesting the Man Card idea:thumbup:

I like Kerry's protective equipment! A canary, right?? Heyyyyyyy!
DOH!!! Campbell did it again!! SEE?? Right off on silliness!!

Ok guys, you don't have to listen to me. But I think you might want to listen to my little friend below. I call him white lightening...the sheen of his skin will blind you like a thunderbolt.

And in case you haven't heard, he has two best friends who are twins...they are a little saucy also...You might know them as Poncho and Lefty.

And if all else fails, I will have to call my friends over at the University of Tennessee. The Vol Nation is not something to be messed with.

Wilfred Works is so lucky to be represented by such a distinguished member of the bar;)!
JK, JK!:p Kerry when are those "Cut It Out" baseball hats going to appear?? Hmmmmmmm?

It's on my to-do list, which is right under to my knives-to-make list, which is directly under my honey-do list. Those are sitting next to my computer(that I use to manage a couple of websites) which is right next to the camera I use to shoot knives. Oh yea, sometimes the three grandkids toys get in the way of that spot, and I have to make room where I normally keep my bass that I play in church on Sundays and practices on Tuesdays(sometimes Thursdays). Somewhere in there I usually get yelled out for leaving my stuff lying around...that takes up a little time:rolleyes: , but I am almost certain I should be able to get to it in the next day or so....

after I walk the frickin dogs and take care of the pool.:cool:

Yowza, those are some nice knives, Campbell.

...A few gray Bose-e-rales say, they could have had them any day. They only let them go so long, Out of kindness, I suppose...

DANG! Did I shoot that  I just impressed myself. :D I really love that Orange WT(without the W) w/caps. Simply the best....better than all the rest!:cool:

I like it too. Better than anyone......anyone I've ever met. ;)

And yes, that is a Kerry original pic that I use with honor from one of his earlier posts once the Vol Nation found itself in my pocket.

So to ask a real knife question...The orange one is made from fibermascus. From a durability standpoint, does anyone have any thoughts on fibermascus v. micarta? I'm put orange micarta to the test (thanks again Kerry), but am scared to do it with fancy orange bosealicious...

Kerry, you are too young to have grandkids!
They tell me, BTW, to give an urgent job to the busiest person you know!
Campbell, all kidding aside, You are in the perfect position to REALLY tell which material is tougher! Carry one in each pocket, alternating pockets on odd-even days, and perform the same tasks with each knife, each day. I mean if one apple a day keeps the doctor away, think what two will do! Of course, if you fling them with abandon into that tree 100 times per day, then the whole experiment won't take as long.
Nice knives by the way!!

Come monday, superBose man, you'll have one tuff mutha to test

Lookin forward to it yankee mun...just so you know, I'm gonna beat the hell outa that BP ;)

As for the pocket test Charlie...I haven't had the courage to carry the Vol Nation without a girlie purse. It's the only knife I will put in leather. The color of the fibermascus is just soooo brilliant, and has a bunch of different layers of color, I'm scared that some scratchin and rubbin might lessen the show. And Orange is my favorite color.

Wait 'til you see how Tony rounded the spine of the blade, never seen nothin' like it. A show of above & beyond knifemaker talent

Kerry, great pics of the tools & the little work clip.It is amazing the skilled workmanship that goes into the Bose knives.Tony & Reese ,they do it right on ,every time!

100 pages. When I started this thread, who knew it'd be a sticky,Thanks Mods ! & I just wanted to show off my first Bose,I was so freakin' taken back by the perfection & heavy duty feel of the knife
I still can manage to get a new one to check out,who knows witch one could become a favorite
This particular BP,it's the swedged drop point that gets me.A little pre Blade score for Vince.4.5" shadow BP,CPM 10V blade, green canvas & look,a "flush joint"

This is the one Vince is referring to. Tony (or anyone who might know), is the rounded spine something you did on this knife just because, or did the customer request it?

Cnasty...your Khnutbuster has G10 handles. It is probably the same in durability as the Fibermascus. I wouldn't be afraid to use that Orange WT so you can give it to me, if it'll make you feel better to see it used.

Just got home..Cnasty!!! You have been an industrious little BoseHo ;) Congrats..Nice stuff.

Still Saddlehornless Randy

All the Remington 1123s and dogsheads of the same pattern had the back of the blades rounded as well as other patterns. It makes them more user friendly. The Old Dog didn't invent anything, he just looks into the past.

Well K'Rock, just goes to show you that I've been using it instead of gazing at it. I like fiberglass better than cloth anyways...

Where you been Randy? I know you only work about 10 hours a week so you must have been playin in a river somewhere ;)
