Saw these at the Shepherd Hills Celebration in Missouri yesterday. They are a super production folder, just love the design and size. Tony & Case done well with this year's collab., for sure!

Also, enjoyed visiting with Tony & Lee. The #5 cotton sampler dressed in that yummy ivory happened to be in the house and it was sure nice having a chance to see that up close and personal. Just outstanding work, dreamy ivory! It was great having you in our area twice in less than a month, Tony.

How'd they do, Kerry? Looks nice.

They have done a great job with this one. Tony saw several of them this weekend and he was impressed with the finished product.

Thanks, Kerry. I guess I can't say I'm surprised given the quality of the previous editions.

The Balloon pattern that the Bose fellas do is really a cool pattern. Four blades in a compact and practical package. This one by Reese has some very nice stag, ATS-34 blades on 2 double end springs, SS hardware and a bubbleishious SS pinned balloon shield. Stamped "4".:D

Bumping this up on a Monday morning.AG Russell started a thread about the top slipjoint makers.I did not respond in it ,there are so many great ones.I did notice however 2 things right away, first post by D Parker, Tony Bose & Reese, witch I agree,IMO the best, when it's all said & done though, thier knives would most likely outcut others,as well.

The other I noticed was there were a couple of names mentioned, that, unless I'm wrong, have yet to make a slipjoint with more than one or two blades.

Take a look at this knife ,I think any slipjoint maker, anywhere, would be quite challenged to make a knife like this, and at this level of perfection. And since I handled it in Atlanta this past June,I can attest to how perfect it was, just something to ponder

Vince, unless I'm wrong, I don't think the criteria posted by A.G. in his thread set any parameters vis-a-vis the number of blades, only that they were slipjoints. Had he specified multi-bladed slipjoints, I agree that it would have changed the responses.

That said, single blades or multi-blades, I don't think there was much doubt as to the surname that would head the list of top slipjoint makers. ;)

Thank You Elliott

These Backpocket knives sure are perfect Look at this!
