Bose Knives

Couldn't have went to a more deserving soul ;) That's a real beauty you have there Mr. Waynorth person. :D

Congrats Charlie & what Kerry said goes for me too. (although it might be a little TMI on your "leg leather" fetish. Could it be that you have been hanging around Mr. Robuck for an unhealthy period of time) :D.

Super, Charlie!! Reese did an awesome job for you. Congratulations definitely in order. A+ on the A2...

Does this mean you won't be needing the rest of them any more

Congratulations Charlie. She's a beauty !

Thanks for the nice comments everybody!
TMI Gus? I guess that means too much information - you must be text messaging my grand daughters!
Actually, there are some parts of a hide that are difficult to cut cleanly, especially in certain directions, because the "wrinkles" stretch. In fact that is what they are - stretch marks! It takes a sharp, well designed punch to make a clean hole there.
I guess that is WTMI!!

This knife plucks my form-follows-function string and makes a sweet tone! It is a beautiful tool. It makes me want to dig out my dusty old leathersmithing equipment, and open the shop again. It's been over 30 years since I did custom leatherwork for a living.

Charlie with those tools, I would be seriously thinking of reopening that custom leather shop of yours. Just think of how much time those sharp punches will save you. :)

Well, I can feel them babies warm against my hand cutting and slicing and piercing and shaping and just feeling that great worn ebony but I ain't. Like watching Scarlett Johansson taking a shower from across a moat. Bwaaaaaa...!!!
