Bose Knives

That is spectacular!

I love that pattern too even though I would never use it for its intended purpose.

I actually think it is a great all around purpose knife. Doesnt need to be used just for cutting flowers. I love the blade shape. I love how it fits in hand too. Feels very nice with the blade pointing up, which is probably why it is used for cutting plants. Cause you cut from the back of the plant, with the blade upwards slicing towards you.

I do have some nice Maters growing in the back yard too. :D

What's the closed length of it?

I spoke to Reese last week. He is getting ready to start on 2005 on his list. You can keep changing your mind for a while yet, Vince.

Looks like you might have to get one shadow and one with stag and bolsters Vince. Its only waiting right? That's half the fun. Ya right!

I doubt I'd ever mess with a pair of one knife pattern, one bolstered, one shadow.I'd much rather have just two different patterns. To me that makes more sense.

But yeah,if you could have it all though, right ??

You all need to go way back in this thread & just look through the pages. The knives by Tony & Reese are breathtaking & Thanks to Kerry for images, too.

#4 Arkansas Hunter  by Tony, seek that one out just for CE -ing....

-Vince :)

Stag on a knife with 2 bolsters can get tricky. You gotta either find a perfect piece of thin stag, or have alot of the nice bark ground off. Usually with Stag knives, if one side isnt capped, it will be pretty thick.. So, I think Ivory also.

Oh. The pruner is 3 7/8" I believe. Looks 4" to me though.

I wish I could afford to buy every single Bose knife available. I guess this sums it up for me.

What can I say...incredible stag, great blade and steel, all in a clean and simple swinger sheath. The sheath is made so that the belt loop can be removed and slipped into your pocket....well maybe not YOUR pocket but SOMEBODY'S pocket :p :D

(Dang I almost forgot how to post pix :p )

Wow!!! What's not to love? Great grinds, swedges, stag, sheath. Someone hit the lotto with this one!

Schweeet and functional with that sheath set up.

How long is it?

The way Tony makes his slip joints I have never seen before. It looks like the back part of the spine of the blade keeps the blade centered to me. And how he fills in the area above the shorter blade I have not seen before. Of course the obvious quality you can see. I just wished I could hold one and call it my own. But I am on disability and even if I were not I think his knives would be to rich for my blood. And If I ordered one, I read somewhere on here that he is still making stuff ordered five and six years ago. I would be almost sixty.

But yes the most beautiful knives I have seen. Not only that they fit me. I love classic looking knives. With the materials he uses they are simply beautiful.

First knife I got from Reese. He spent a lot of time on the scales..knowing how I love redbone. Still my favorite Bose..

To this knife I said to my self Ahhh Man. What a sweet knife. I do not have any need for small sheath knives but I have a couple and I always adore ones like this for sure.

Nice is all I can say besides, Lucky You

Oh man I like that !

That knife is a deer hunters work horse

Kerry, that semi-skinner is just outstanding.

Slim, light and in 440V must have a light sabre edge. One of my favorites!
