Bose Knives

Roland ,
Not to beat this thing....you need to break down & get yourself a Bose knife.
With all the wonderful custom knives in your collection,it's time,my friend.
It is then, that you will realize, bone, stag,Ivory, they do not use BS materials
Its perfection like you've never seen
So,shute,its Remington bone for me
I even think, and have told many knifemakers this too,I swear,I dunno what they do there, but thier green canvas micarta is superior,as well.

Maybe its just me I dunno.
You gotta snag one brother!

Vince, thanks for all the support and encouragement you have given me for the past couple of years. Obtaining a T.Bose folder with natural scale materials is foremost on my list of knives still to acquire. what i balk at is paying the inflated prices dealers want. it makes the knives very expensive, but i would likely still go ahead if all the money went to the knifemaker. paying a 'middleman' an extra approximately $1000(?) is what irks me.
the origin of "that bone" does not concern me at all. any knife made by Tony will be marvellously done and and scale material well choosen and hafted to perfection. that's what i want. origin of scale material prior to being on the knife does not matter to me.
I do have a T. Bose Desk Knife from another forum member coming soon, so i'm getting closer.

Get on Reese's list. It might take a while to get your knife, but that just means you have more time to get the money together. And it's definitely cheaper doing it that way.

Hey Brad,That is a great knife! Congrat's. Excellent choice.

Gotta love all of them but the ivory ej is:thumbup:

Coupled with the "that bone" version of the ej. I think I just died and went to heaven.

Thank you Kerry, I can not think of a better way to go. :D.

:eek:BLOWN AWAY HERE!
THAT IS PURTY, PURTY, TONY!
THANKS FOR THE LOOKSEE, KERRY!
YOU GUYS ROCK MY WORLD AGAIN & AGAIN!!;):D

Kerry, there's a special place in hell reserved for you! :p

Kerry, there's a special place in hell reserved for you! :p

If he goes there and has those ej's with him. I would consider a short visit to say hello, CE and CF those two pups. I'll bring some cold water.

I'll be the guy standing in front of the giant treadmill full knife sluts....dangling Bose knives just out of reach. BWAAAAAHAAAAAAA!:D

There's gonna be a long line of well tanned (and red necked) folks trying to keep up on that treadmill...I'll be the guy that brings a snowball to hell just for the satisfaction of seeing Kerry's glasses end up looking just like Ralphy's in "A Christmas Story". :D

Agreed!
Just a quick question, may have been answered on another post, but what is with the rust like color in the nail nick of the pen blade?
Thanks,
Jim

Jim,
When the nail nicks are put in prior to the HT,the preferred way,by some collectors :D When they are baked, certain elements of the steel come to the surface.A knifemaker can better describe that, but thats how I do.

Yeah,Eureka jack in Ivory, that's no where's near pocket knife hell. Its the other way fella's.....all the way up & to the top

That's color left over from the HT process...surface oxidation.
