Bose Knives

It's a handful of awesome. You'd need some pretty darn stout pockets and a belt to carry that "pocket knife" :D

But I'll bet the "ooohhs" and "aaahhs" you get when you pull it out make it feel a whole lot lighter!

Thanks, Kerry.

I know there are knives built with emeralds and diamonds but I doubt there is a folding knife that has been better built than that Beaver Tail, or that, all things being equal, would outlast it. That's some serious knife there. Congratulations.

Nice pictures Roland. I'm going to add your daughter as a member of the Hard Users Junior Club.

Great knife by Reese. I love the double pulls and shield, but I'd need to tighten my belt up a few notches to avoid plumber's butt while carrying that one.

 Now that's an image I didn't need.

I always thought it was plumber's crack though...

I love big slipjoints Kerry, how is the pull on that monster? I have a 4 1/2" BP which is no child's toy, I find it hard to imagine it at another 3/4". Just a superb looking knife. Tip of the hat to Reese on that one and whoever is receiving it.

The "pull" is perfect for this knife. I'd give it a 5 on the spring load meter.

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to spend a few days with Tony and Reese at their shop. I observed a Panama Trapper from start to finish. I was absolutely amazed at the attention to detail and the time required to complete such a knife. Very impressive! I also completed my first knife, with some guidance. A drop point hunter with stag. Two weeks later it was off to North Dakota to do a field test on the new knife. The large birds are Sandhill Cranes, nicknamed " sirloin of the sky". They are also what is on the grill.

Just my kind'a shooting. I like a pointy knife for dressing birds; a smaller, lighter knife. I bet the Panama Trapper will be great for ducks. I'm glad Tony asked you to make your own knife rather than giving you mine...!! :D:thumbup:

Do you smell what the Old Dog is cooking!
