Bose Knives

For a number of years, Tony has donated a knife to the National Knife Museum to be auctioned for the purpose of raising money for operating expenses for the museum in Sevierville, Tennessee. This year at the Blade Show in Atlanta, they will be auctioning off this 3 9/16" Eureka Jack, hafted in Case Antique Bone with 154CM blades and springs. Normally these are done with caps but this little beauty is a barehead. We won't hold that against her :D

Great looking knife, Kerry. Looking at that beauty makes me appreciate just how well you executed your own version of the Eureka jack. Congrats to Tony on the knife and the (repeated) generosity.

I agree Mike. Pete is great to talk with. He always has a great old knife (or a few) to show. Hats off to Tony for the knives he has given to good causes and folks.
Hats off to Kerry for giving us the virtual CE of that awesome EJ.

Nothing to do with luck...hopefully the person that ends up with it spends a hellufa lot of money on it, as it's a great cause.

What I want to know is where Kerry gets all his cool nicknacks as props in the photos.

Another awesome Bose knife!
I think Tony's talent and generosity know no bounds!
At least there are still a few months left to save up the pennies. Although I think finding a few 1909 S VDB ones would help. :)

That is a lovely Eureka Jack! WOW! It's just
a classy traditional slip joint!! Everything
about it is Excellent! Thanks for those GREAT
pics Kerry! Tony is just a top notch fellow!

Wow! Outstanding knife! Very generous of Mr. Bose!

Nice photo composition Kerry! What is that attached to the chain on the pocket watch? Is that an old tooth belonging to Toofus?

Looks like an elk bugler tooth. They were used as currency at one time by certain native N.A. tribes.

It's a Elks Club (BPOE) watch fob/pendant. My uncle had one that was very similar.

The watch and BPOE fob belonged to my maternal great grandfather. I wasn't sure what BPOE stood for...thanks for that, and I also found out on the forums a few years ago that the ivory was in fact an elk bugler tooth.....whew! the things I have learned here :D:thumbup::cool:

BTW...you can see the watch still works but it sure musta gotta lotta pocket time as the bezel is majorly pitted.

Great knife to contribute to the NKM, Tony!!
I will bid as usual, but there are some DEEP pockets out there!!
