Bose Knives

Looks like you're having a good time, Gus. With a few prizes to take home too. Very nice!

Dibs on the Hawbacker! I know you guys are all drooling over the stag pieces on this page, so I'll just take the bone folder. ;) :D
Man, looking forward to CF'n a few of these next week.

Little did I know! Made this post about two weeks ago. Okay, I'll take a stag one! :)

Gus, always a treat to see you in Atlanta. Sorry we didn't get to visit more. Always appreciate your friendship and support!

Don Hanson was drawn twice in the raffle in 2010. I was drawn that year also, my first Bose raffle prize. It didn't bend, but it was a super Tony stag desk knife, and I was very pleased!

Fast forward to this year. I was drawn early on during 'Tony Time' and picked up my first Lanny's Clip...by the man himself! And, in ivory, no less. I was so excited! I was standing next to Don and I told him it was his turn now. Then, the next to last draw of the day, my name is called again. Totally unbelivable! I end up with Reese's stag WT pictured a couple of pages back.

It is always a pleasure to see Tony and Reese at the show and get some one-on-one visiting time in. And picking up a folder from each this year just blows me away! They are both class acts and I feel fortunate to know them and own some of their awesome work.

Congratulations Joe that is a great memory to have, and two killer knives as reminders. Wow that's a haul of a draw :thumbup::thumbup:

Gus, I was sure thinking about you on Friday. Guess you loaned the infamous horseshoe to Joe. (Hope Joe cleaned it off.)

Thanks to my good friends Greg and John, I got lucky twice this year. The Texas Jack is super special ... the swedges, the slight recurve on the main blade, different sized blade stock, Remington (I assume) bone ... but after serious fondling, the Desk knife will probably get the most use. After using a swayback for the past year, am a dedicated wharncliffe fan. Halfted in ivory, can't close on my fingers, nice sheath, lightweight, shaped like a swayback and made by the master. I'm a lucky man.

Congrats Joe on being drawn twice, love your WT. Gus, am jealous of that swayback, very nice. Congrats to all who got lucky in the lotto or found what they were looking for. Thanks to Tony and Reese for giving the average person a chance to own your work.

Congrat's John  Major Fantastic

Congrats Joe! You had a heckuva weekend. Gus you did a fine job as well. John, That Texas Jack is one of my
favorite patterns, You lucky dog you...lol. Congrats buddy.

Jason

Congrats John. Both are beautiful and it a good home. ;)

Now if we could just track down the missing Tony/Don Zulu that would top off a great show.
