Bose Knives

You have a fine collection of Case knives Primble. Do you hand pick the new ones as the color seems consistent in the red bone?

Yes - all except one was hand picked and I had good photos of that one. Fortunately, there are four Case Master Dealers in my state and I have been known to drive around two hundred miles to the one furthest from me, more than once for the Case/Bose selections.;)

Primble, you're such an enabler! It's a good thing I can't decide between the Wharncliffe Trapper and the Lanny's Clip, my indecision might be the only thing keeping my wallet safe right now
They are both great, but, that WT is an outstanding carry knife.;)

Thank you Primble!! I love the contrast between the understated wood and the very nice bone shade. Great photography and great knives. Also a big thank you to Tony for bringing these knives to life.
Nathan

Yes Nathan, the credit goes to Tony for these knives and I would guess that he is proud of the Case employees that hand finish these knives. They are surely not as high quality as the Wilfred Works knives, but, I don't think that was the intent and they are extremely well made for a production knife. I am proud to own my copies and they all have seen some pocket time.:) The antique bone CJ has seen more than it's share of pocket time.;)

I picked a time when this thread was a little bit idle to post my knives. The original poster of the thread wanted to see the collaboration knives as well, however, the thread seemed to turn into a Wilfred Works thread, which certainly isn't a bad thing.:) I felt that some photos of the Case/Bose knives were appropriate for this thread and your responses make me feel I was correct in assuming such. Thank you.:)

Primble, I'm sure the boys from Wilfred Works enjoy seeing your excellent photos as much as the rest of us do. I'm a huge fan of the Case/Bose collaborations myself and you've got some nice ones.

I am with you on that sentiment Gary. And thanks for the photos Primble.

Primble,
Good point about the Case employees! They do great work finishing these knives for sure. Thank you again for posting these pics.

If it has Wilfred Works on the tang, you know it is special and extremely well built, and this one is no exception! Your photo is a bit dark on my monitor and I am not real sure about the handle material - maybe Micarta?? That Bose WT is a knife that most anyone would cherish.;)

I'm sorry about the pic.

Really nice! I've grown to really love the look of the coffin jack, probably because I've discovered a love of spear point blades. That looks like a really fine example there!
