Actually John Hanlon obtained a sheet of this vintage rag micarta recently. Very rare stuff indeed. Looks great in a belt finish I think!

Beautiful Wharncliff Trapper David, terrific grinds and the nail nicks size and alignment to the swedge is sweet.
These details are what separate the men from the boys!

That's a real nice one and I'm sure it will be a great user for many years to come. John Hanlon comes up with some great handle material for Tony to use.

That knife is in the stratosphere!! Thanks for sharing it with us! Rag micarta....I wonder what it was originally used for
