Bose Knives

"Folks may not realize that the idea for this years Case/Bose collaboration knife came from Tony's involvement in this forum and the connection he made with a certain member that lives wayyyyyynorth! Lots of good things are happening and I count it a privilege to be a part of it." Kerry
Thanks for the credit, Kerry, but any fool can pay too much for a broken down old knife. It takes Tony to bring it back to life!!

Oops, a simul-post! Yes I really feel safe now:eek:!

"Hey look, guys, someone left a bull in the shop. Dang it, Kerry now he's a steer.”

“Mister if you come near our aluminum can collection again you’ll be pullin’ back stumps instead of fingers and hoppin’ home on your knees.”

“Sure, c’mon in, we was just fixin’ to trim Randy’s toenails and corns.”

Well that is a real beauty!

I used to sail a bit, and that jigged bone in photo 2 reminds me of wind on fair water. Very fine.

That's such a beauty! Nice going, Reese!
I have never heard the term "feather jigged" before. Can someone define it for me? I sure like the way it looks!!

I got the terminology from Tony. There is a centerline where the jig pattern starts and stops which makes it look similar to a feather. The handle material is first ground with shallow angles from the centerline. This forms a "roof shape" base on which to start the jig pattern.

I was just thinkin...that harness jack up there a ways is stamped "0". That means the "Prototype" is out there some where and I wonder if it is being loved and used on a regular basis or is it staring at 4 dark walls of a quiet safe. Hmmm...makes a man think.:D
