Is it possible to just get the scales from Buck? I didn't see anything on their website.

The first listing was on the bay a couple hours after the actual Buck drop. So yes, spend more money and wait longer to get it. No Joke.

Not as far as I know. I guess you could always send them a message and ask. I inquired about buying a pocket clip one time and they said no. Never hurts to ask though.

Understood. I'm sorry I wasn't clear in my post. In my head, I was thinking about those orange g10 scales in post #119. That didn't come across though.

Is it possible to get a set of g10 scales? Or order a different color set of aluminum scales?

The Spitfire has caught my attention again. This one looks really nice. Did Buck ever fix the problem with excessive up and down play? I want to say that I remember they changed the way they do the pivot to fix the issue, but I am old and have a defective mind.

We did re-design the pivot and locking bar 4 years or so ago.
 
Interesting BOTM this month. Not something that I am really attracted to but I am happy for those members who scored one.
