Bought “NIB” knife w/ scratch on blade, seller says I am doing a 'switcheroo' on him

i just don't buy from anyone who asks for paypal fees. i think it is low class for a seller to ask (not to mention it is against paypal policy). if they add the extra 2.5% to the price, and the price is fine with me, no harm done. i truly believe for every amazing must have knife deal that pops up, there will be a dozen more down the road.

I had an issue like this recently. Something I'm going to be doing from now on, is buying from dealers. I understand some knives are hard to find, but you have to go into a sale with some thought that the person who is selling you the knife isn't going to have the eye for detail that you do. Currently, if I sell someone a user.... I take the time to clean it, oil it, make it as good looking as humanly possible without doing anything cosmetic to the knife. If I sell some one a BRAND SPANKING NEW blade.... they get some nice high res pictures that they then may examine.
