'Bout how many blades do you have?

I recieved some jibes after opening my safe for some friends who were over for dinner. Their wives seemed to think my 25 knives and hawks were excessive. Never mind that they have more in their kitchen! Anyway, I told them I was a light weight, that many serious collectors would have many more. So I thought I'd ask my favorite blade forum.

You definitely have more knives than me. I've got 23 knives and two multi-tools.

Knives that I value and like would number around 25. If I include real beaters and my cheap knives from my un-enlightened days I probably have around 35.

At least 20, but I don't consider myself a serious knife guy. I've got 40 guns, many full customs. If I "got" into knives seriously, I've no doubt I could dump half the guns and turn that into top shelf 50-100 blades.

My current accumulation numbers around 350 folders and about 50 fixed blades (I've been at it for 40 years)

I buy and sell, so I usually don't have a whole lot. I had upwards of twenty buy I sold everything I could that I didn't need and got myself a Mnandi. :thumbup:

I have 41 not counting tools such as machetes, a bayonet used for weeding, box cutters, kitchen knives, etc. Like others I am an accumulator. Maybe I will introduce some reason and make it a collection. I just realised that I am short by 16 for knives to age ratio. I will have to buy some more to catch up. Now what will I buy.
