I'm probably well below average with a count in the 30's as we speak. I did have about 80, most of which I've sold here on the forums over the last few months (thanks to all who purchased!). I've still definitely got the disease, but I'm managing it now with more calculated purchases / trades instead of the shotgun approach I used to apply to acquiring new blades. Like so many others here, I usually buy what I like from an appearance standpoint, with function following a close second. However, I have at times received something that looked fabulous but turned out to be designed and built by drunk chimpanzees. These I either give to a knife newbie or put as positive description on as I can and sell it right away. It's a risk we all take at times.
