Bowie Team 6 design discussion

Very impressed with the sharpness of this blade!
Popped hairs straight from the box!
Beef did a good job on this one👍
 
Thought id post some comparo pics of my bowie ash and the sfno handle. [emoji106] the handle is very similar to the sfno except for the spine where the front of the hand sits. Bigger hump there on he sfno and on the lower back if the handle the bt6 thins out more. Hope that helps some of you wondering. I still cant decide which of the three i like better. [emoji106]

Ok. I went overboard on bt6 blades between the mummys and grab bags. But here is a good compare of handle colors.

Ohh ya you do i was really hoping for a canvas one with the dip in the spine. But im not complaining. Gonna trade off a few and make two strippers and put canvas on them. I really like the all white one. But i think the black and white i have so far is my favorite. Just not sure if i want to strip it or not. But a blasted stripper with that g10 would be perfect.

I got to agree with you. I think the lighter handles look better on this blade style. I am going to strip the white one and polish the blade as close to mirror as I can get without losing the dimples that should be there. I like the dimples. My favorite other color is the green/black. Like yourself I was hoping for a canvas, dip or not did not matter so much. I like canvas as a user, just seems more grippy. I have even thought of putting burl wood on one and strip the blade. Still thinking about that though.

Yep sure will, think I will be working on the white one this weekend. Will surely post the results. I have already seen one white one stripped out. Looked great.

When I first got the Jungle Storm on mine, I was a little disappointed. I have posted earlier that I would hope for red/black (so foolish of me). But it has REALLY grown on me. I love that color. I love the smog color, too, I think it is called. The two-color that is so subtle. That would probably be my favorite, but it is close between that and the one I got.

As much as I like this knife, I don't think I'm going to strip it. I think I'm just going to wear the coating off it a while first. Haven't started yet. But it is going to accompany me hunting this year.
 
nice looking knives you two. all that different colored g10 makes for some pretty knives, can't wait to see a couple stripped and polished

Well bud,
Of all the 5 i have the three you got are by far my favorite handles of them all. Awesome trio. I cant wait to strip my black/white and tan/white two. And the bone one is the only one i didnt get. I am pretty sure im going to make some black or green canvas handles for one of the strippers though as i think that would be the best setup possible.

Any of you gents willing to part with a BT6 for a SHe Black Canvas Black Coating?
 
Like Ladams Tequila the best. I have a Burgundy/White/Black on the way. Not bad either. Noticed they offered some very light colored handle option on the Six.
