And completing it.

Looking forward to finished product photos. Curious how well the drill guide will work. I purchased on for knife work but have not used it.I sometimes think the line between saber and scandi is rather broad and blurred.
I found the mini camper difficult cross-cutting carrots. Maybe there's a knack I don't have.

My savage is still downstairs awaiting new handles. I'm almost ready. I still don't know where my drill press is, but my drill guide should work.
Good luck JerI think this one should work for the way I'm planning: drill the holes through the board, then cut out the handle around the holes, and saw the board in two. Put the outside sides inward and leave the sawcut sides on the outside to be sanded.

I see less room for error in this one than in the kind that you clamp your whole drill into.
I'll let you know.
Good luck Jer![]()

CongratulationsFinally picked up my "Stand with Ukraine" knife from the post office today. It had arrived a while ago but i was out of town for work.
That knife is a beast, love it! Not that I will ever use it to its full potential, but it will be used with pride! Photos to come.

ADV Basic
Have you seen the new knife from BPS Knives on Amazon? Has anyone already
ordered and tried it out? From the
description, I understood that it's just
the Adventurer without the ferro rod. Is
that correct?
And now we can buy an Adventurer blade!
Great pics![]()

Here are a few pics of mine. Love the scales and the grip, very comfortable! Gave the scales my usual oil treatment.
Took a good hard look at mine, can't find any plastic......I have a few Mora's too,and they are ok. But for me they are too much plastic and not enough full tang. Not that I would put them through their paces with my uses, I just like the reassuring feeling of a full tang knife. I also like to support Ukraine at this point![]()
Good call bringing this thread back to BPS. Sorry for diverting. There are DOZENS of Mora threads here in this sub-forum, and even more on BF as a whole. I don't know if there are threads on BPS knives elsewhere, but this is the only one in Traditional. Here's the most recently active Mora thread, if anyone wants to discuss them. I'd be happy to join in![]()
