Brand New 100 lb Little Giant

Nice video and you've got quite a team there, Don.
My 50# sure looks lonely sitting there now.
The press is nice, but I think I'm gonna have to get Sweat Pea a friend!
Just cuz.
I'm jealous.

Cliff,

We spoke for a short while at the Blade show. I lurked around Don's table for awhile. I never really got a chance to speak with you enough there was a lot going on.

Dave from Diller

Thank you Mark

I'll relate another crazy hammer story from a few years ago. There were some folks from I believe the Washington coast. They knew where their grandfathers 50#er was so they sent divers down to pull up the buoy weight. The hammer was in about fifty feet of water being used as a buoy weight in the harbor. They have pictures of it covered in barnacles. They cleaned it up and are using it still.

How deep would a Corvette own dive?;)

Thats a great story, love it.

Well I cant stand it any longer. I guess that grandfather figured little giants were best used as anchors.

Just kidding guys.
Cliff

Cliff, that's bad! :)

Now I wish I had not seen that Bob Kramer video. That's a Very Nice Huge Little Giant!
He also has a Tom Clark air hammer

Cliff, I'll talk to you in the morning about the anchor comment

Yep that is a 500 lb little giant power hammer. I was new old stock when Bob got it from Hanford Miller in Colorado. It had been purchased by a railroad company who never even hooked it up and then Hanford got it and had it for ten plus years and never hooked it up either. Bob and I quible over it for a little while but Bob ended up with the hammer. At least it has a good home.

Hi Bill,
Man ya lost out on that deal. That hammer will give ya goose bumps.

Cliff

Yeh I know Cliff I still get a stiffy when I think about hitting the pedal on that thing with a hot billet between the dies. I would own it if I hadn't of thought about not having a place to put it.

Added a small guard to the new 100 lber. Might extend it down a bit, but the spring is always behind the guard, should be good piece of mind.

Also got to forge a bit the other day, did some adjusting and dressed the dies. This thing is an animal, it hits much harder now! :D
