  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Brass is back on the menu... GEC #44

That smooth and lightly colored is very different, but I like it, too. Mine is the more normal dark with texture.

I was late to the game on this one.

I absolutely love my jig bone 44- but I would kick a kitten for a stag version.

So please tell me- when were they released, and how did people find out?
I am not able to surf the forum much some weeks, but I do check email throughout the day. I did not see any emails or notifications or a text from CK...

I just want to know so I don’t miss the next cool GEC release.

:)

bbk357 bbk357 please PM me and I'll fill you in. We try not to discuss that kind of thing in the forums but there are stags available right now.

Waited a long time to experience this pattern in hand by ordering a stag northfield, and i really do not like the feel in hand of the squared end cap on it. The sharp corners are not comfortable. Question for those who have both a tidioute and 'unxld' version, does the 'unxld' brass end cap feel any better than the tidioute? i am hoping the chamfered edges are more comfortable.
So i took a chance and purchased a cocobolo unxld version and the feel in hand of the end cap is night and day better for me. the bevelling around the edge makes all the difference.
