Break Open Those Carrots Boys!!!!

Count me in for one or two. It would be great to get a matching pair, and by that I mean one smaller size CC and one a bit bigger. But I'll definitly take one when there available.:D

I think satin finish is a must. I like the idea of removeable handles and the paper micarta kicks ass. I leave the grinds to your expertise Jerry.

Second the bead blast.

Kydex with crossed ceramic sticks, so it auto-sharpens when deployed or sheathed.;)

Also, offer a Blade-o-leer for it....OH YEAH BAAAABY!!!!!

Sounds like it's off to a good start.:D:D I don't drink but some Ice Cream is starting to sound good.

hi...newbie here. just a thought, how about a paring knife to go along with it. sold as a set?

Sounds good to me.

No camo in the kitchen! Might lose the blade and cut your fingers!

John.. Why satin? Any culinary reason? Mine is most definately going to get used. Figured the BB would scratch less.

Sounds great so far. Planning on a blade coating or leaving them satin?

Satin finished. . . .Ought to make clean up with a scotch bright sos pad a breeze!

Yes, removeable handles would be great. I like the idea of having a kitchen only blade. I agree with bocephus about a pearing size knife to match. I would assume for kitchen duty, a satin finish would be top choice for most

Well, satin is just purdier than bead blasted. I'm in for at least one satin. A paring knife to go with it sounds nifty as well.

I think satin for rust prevention and for looks. Also if it is satin finished, Jerry can put a zero edge on it if he so chooses.

Rob, what the hell are you cutting in the kitchen that scratches your knives? :D

Gotta chime in atleast once with my vote....

Removable handles - YES
Paper Micarta - YES
Bead Blast - HELL NO
Satin - YES
One sided grind - YES

Mike brings up a good point, what sort of edge are you thinking about for these Jerry?

Well, we plan on bringing them down to a paper thin edge before sharpening. . . Right around .010" thick. . . That's about the thickness of two to three sheets of typing paper. . . Ought to be easier than heck to keep sharp.

We are a little worried about them being too flexible. . . . might have to thicken the stock (not the grind) up a bit in order to give it some stiffness.

I suppose you want a 3/8th inch carrot cutter. I can see it now. Nemmy in the kitchen tryin to cut a tomato with a MOAB.
Yes, that's why beer is an enabler. :D
