Break Open Those Carrots Boys!!!!

One sided grinds can be problematic if the grind is shallow or the stock is thick. However, when you are dealing with .090 stock and the grind is nearly 2 inches high, you avoid all of the pitfalls that can plague this geometry and are left with only the advantages. This gring will prove to be your favorite. There really is no felt difference between right and left handed use with this blade. . . so far.

Does that make any sense? Or am I just too CBL'd to notice?

How about a Pig Roast to commemorate this new blade?

Excellent idea! If we're gonna roast a Hog, let's roast either Chuck or Skunk and then split up their gear once we're done chowin'! ;)

Wait a minute spanky!!! How did 3/8" get into my post? :) You're gonna make these people think that all I care about is 3/8" INFI.

(having four 3/8" pieces less than six feet away proves nothing!!!)

Heh, heh. Why not both of them, then we can really split their stuff up. :D

Not a bad Idea John, Hell, I'd even pick the prototype up and make a 10 course meal in trade.

On another note, we will be changing our office hours at the launch of the new Busse Website (Less than 4 days I hope).

We will have our phones manned from Monday thru Thursday 10:00am - 4:00pm EST and then in the evenings on the same days so that our West coast hogs can call after work, from 6:00pm - 10:00pm EST

We will also be open on Saturdays and Sundays. Our office hours will be from Noon 'til 4:00pm EST.

This ought to make getting in touch with us a whole lot easier!

Nuke on!

What about the new stuff..????? Can you....... , Will you give us any info on any new projects??????:D

Cerberus

WHew! Almost missed the fun.

How bout the logo on the Kitchen Knives having a modified Custom shop logo where the guy grinding is wearing a chef hat?:D

Jerry,

Like I said, I haven't had the opportunity to try such a knife in the kitchen. Of course, I'd expect something "special" from your shop what with your inclination toward innovation and all.

If anything, I think the kitchen kutlery industry is inclined toward stagnancy. I've seen a few ceramic blades (not well liked) and a trend toward asian style blades recently, but grinds and handles have not changed appreciably for some time.

Here's hoping there will be a "test team" ;)

Sounds like the gals will really be working their tails off. So the new site might be 4 days away? Now that is something to smile about. :D
