Bret Dowell Knives

Those two are very nice Bret....the wharncliffe is calling my name.

Brett has become one hell of a knife grinder. I bit he will get sick of making this pattern before he dies.

I hope that doesn't happen before my name comes up. I think there is one of these in my future. Absolutely beautiful stuff!!

Good evening knife nuts .
When the "Hog Neck Trapper" was built by Bret & posted for you's :) ,I mentioned a "North Fork Jack"
Well,it's a Dog Leg & no one,has to call it a North Fork Jack,if they do not want to,but here it is.
You can call it ,as you see it.
Bret asked me to post this up,built for a friend of mine who is on vacation.
You know who you are ,and Bret says he's crossing your name off his list, for now.
It's about 3.5" closed. Bret,it's amazing, keep up the outstanding work

Looks to me,like a perfect pocket knife.

Enjoy & Thanks,
-Vince :)

Foul weather in OK. only permitted time for these ,but I know, you will see more, soon.

Another beauty from Bret. He's doing great work!

I'm diggin that dogleg Vince, along with all the knives in this thread  I got on Brett's list a while back before I ever held one of his knives. After picking up this one on the exchange...I'll just say it hasn't lessened my anticipation in the least :D Keep up the good work Brett!

That must be the one eh? Very nice and excellent work Bret! Jason, I blame you for my sudden addiction to doglegs . . .:foot:;)

I really like the medium sized "pen" blade plus clip main on that dogleg -- should be a very useful combo, sits low out of the way for using the main blade, and looks good too.

Congrats Jason, that looks incredible!

This new Brown Micarta Dogleg Jack was in
my mailbox this afternoon when I got home.
This is one of the nicest knives I have!!
F/F on this one is AMAZING!! The blades
are nice and thin, and razor sharp, They
lay low enough that when either blade is
open it fits perfect in hand. The long pull is in a perfect spot,
it's hidden well, but easy to open the master! The
nail nick is a great size! The blade combo is exactly
what I wanted.
The action is nice and tight but it's really smooth!
Micarta is a nice dark brown and feels a little
grippy! This is the "PERFECT" EDC knife I wanted
it to be! It could not be any better!!
Thanks Bret for making this "unbelieveable" knife
it will get a ton of pocket time, My friend.
