Bret Dowell Knives

Vince, I love how precise the relieved liners are in the pic from atop the backsprings.

That shows some serious quality and attention to detail. Micron precise!
 
Beauty ! I need another Bret Dowell knife. So far i only have one, a small Swayback, and it's a "good one", very precise.

My only problem is I can't stand to look at Bret's knives late at night, keeps me awake trying to figure how to fit it into the budget. I have to look at them early in the day so as my wife can find many things for me to do to get my mind off of them. All of Bret's knives are awesome.

Bret's list is getting longer and longer. Give him a call and get on the list...figure out how to pay for it over the next year or so. :)
 
I picked up this Dowell Amber jigged bone Swayback
It's a great little Swayback! It was used a little
but it's really in Mint condtion! I was happy
to take it! The color on the bone looks
different when the sun hit's the knife!

Beautiful knife. The handle of Bret's rendition is a little different from the prototypical Bose swayback, but I like it.
