Brett has become one hell of a knife grinder. I bit he will get sick of making this pattern before he dies.

That's fantastic Bret-...great idea Vince-I think I know what my next knife from Bret will be!!!....Tony:thumbup::thumbup::D

I usually prefer single bladers but that is awesome. Great idea Vince and great work Bret, I hope you're saving me some of that killa micarta!

Cool, thanks Bret! That's the nicest micarta I've ever seen, can't wait for my turn!

Home run.....seriously.....an amazing knife.

I don't know when my number comes up again with Bret but I now know what knife he'll be building for me.

Vince and Bret! That's one good looking Hogneck Trapper
I love that Brown Canvas Micarta! Vince You had one
heck of an idea! Bret you made that idea happen Perfect!
Congrats to you both!

Jason

Say Vince, I meant to ask you about the name you came up for this particularly cool pattern. I already figured that "Hog" was likely from the sowbelly stockman style main blade. What about "Neck"?

Luciano, the knife is named after the Hog Neck Bay,out here ,in between the North & South Forks of Eastern Long Island.

Stay tuned, for the North Fork Jack

Actually that is the Great Peconic Bay,but the Hog Neck Bay area is an area up over by us,in those waters.
