Broken Byrd

The entire thing is rather baffling I do admit...if you didn't FUBAR your hand, consider yourself blessed as I have talked to people who have lost fingers as a result of knife failure. Additionally, G10 is highly toxic and not something that I would break very often. If you plan on hacking through metal again, I would look at the knives Strider has to offer as neither the Byrd nor the Buck are built for that kind of abuse.
 
i just bought a cara cara SS , i love it, great pics, if you happen to TEST the waters with a RAVEN, can you please post pics also, i just got one of those too,
 
So what, I wonder, was worth destroying two $30.00 knives to get to? Something that would better be handled with a crowbar and a bolt cutter?
