Brown Para 2

I really wish we had a consolidated, stickied thread that contained links to new and current preorders. Some day I'll land a nice sprint :)

He must have talked to the same lady I did. She said they only got in 3 in the first shipment, and didn't know for sure if they would get more. Mr Dye came on and said they were getting some more this week, but think it was less than 30.

Did they even take pre orders? I didn't see them on there site last week.
 
Yes they did have a preorder. I preordered with them on 7/12/11. I had forgotten all about it until I got an e-mail this morning. The person I spoke to said they got 30 in.

Man, I wish I had known that. I pre ordered from another place, and NG would have saved me about $27.



edit- I now have one on the way from NG:thumbup:
I had sent them an email to get on there list after seeing his post in the Dealer section, and got some good news not long after my above post.

It's like the Lionspy I just bought. I had pre ordered it with one dealer at 320. Then another dealer has it for 300, so I bought it. Then 3 days later another dealer is selling it for 280.

I got an email from NG and they had a few extra that they posted for sale at 530 PM on March 2nd, I didnt get the email till 6 and I was out to eat so I had to order mine off my phone. When I ordered mine there were 5 left. Now its 4am on March 3rd and they are sold out! Was originally going to pass on this one but when I saw BladeHQs YouTube vid on it I had to get one. And NG had the best price I could find!
 
Mine arrived today (nice service and a thank you to BHQ). Nice knife. The brown G10 is the same earth brown G10 as the XHP Military...blade perfectly centered and the lock is not sticky. :thumbup: As far as the P2 sprints go, this one is kind of extravagant, since the steel is not really different than the standard S30V, but I like the color. I had in mind a blade swap, but probably won't, although a swap with the orange XHP CS exclusive would come close to lining up with the orange Military (S30V, which is very similar to S35VN) and the earth brown Military (XHP). Something to think about between now and when the XHP P2 arrives. :)

BHQ has a video on the Brown Para on their youtube channel. Brown looks good!
 
Mine arrived today. Very neat knife - my first Para. I wish I could get a handle like this with a Military sized blade. The blade is centered and the lock up is awesome - New compression lock fan here. I wish someone other than BBS had blue Para2s. I'd be all over them.
 
Mine is in the mailllll, I have the least amount of patience ever. I would almost consider paying the ridiculous expedited shipping prices just to get my knives in my hands faster!!!!!
 
I might have to pick one of these up. I keep liking the brown the more I look at it. It also closer to what I want to pay for a knife.
 
Well, I was successfully avoiding this one until today (had decided I wouldn't get this one because of the similarity in steel to regular production, yet $40 mark up in price) then I found it for $104 at a store I don't usually shop at while looking for a different knife, oh well I guess this way I'll have all PM2 Sprints.

Heck, if they could be had for that price I would snag another!

Mine came in Tuesday, and I really love this shade of brown. I like the Brown more than the black, camo, blue, or the upcoming orange and green green.
