BTW Be very careful and aware that you know who/what is behind you when you use this technique. I came too close to cutting a friend standing behind me when I "popped" the knife open. I believe I will stick with the good ole' thumb hole in the future, it's all the quick I need.

ROM831, when done properly everyone behind you should be safe...the only harm is if the knife slips you will stick it in the ceiling!

I must be doing it wrong then, I can't seem to "see" any other way to do it. I am having to swing my arm too far behind be to make it work safely. Did anybody ever make any pics or video?
