Brut de forge hybrid

Oh, and nice color on your sheath!

I know I've been bragging about Ray's ability to take my thoughts for a knife and hammer them into real steel, but I also wanted to add that he went above and beyond with the sheath. I had a few odd requests for the sheath for my Brute de Forge Hybrid and Ray never batted an eyelash, just chugged ahead and met my requests with a passion for the challenge.

It came out perfect, just like the knife, exactly what I had envisioned.

That is VERY good to know. He's never volunteered to make a sheath the way I wanted it before --- now I know he CAN do it :D :D

In case anyone is interested in my thoughts of this knife, I'll be taking some more photos and posting my "review" of it within the next day or two. The Brut de Forge Hybrid arrived safe and sound yesterday afternoon and in short it is absolutely stunning. Ray is amazing. Much more to come....

Sorry for the delay guys, I still won't be able to post all of my thoughts jsut yet, been working way too much lately, but here are some more pics of the knife Ray made for me. I'll try to take some better ones, hopefully getting a new camera this week...

A close up of the right side of the crown, you can see the teeth marks that Ray mentioned in an earlier post :D

Here's a shot of it in my hand, since handedness was discussed in this thread too. You can see how well it fits into the right hand (feels even better than it looks). It also feels very comfortable in the left hand and an overhanded grip in the right hand (with the tongue of the guard over the thumb area and the edge towards you) it is an unbelievable fit. It feels like part of the hand in that position.

More to come....
