Yes obsessed and more than a little lubricated Thanks for the understanding all just want to see some Brute's and have no intention of having any knife made, coming up to my mods a Brute is in the mix and just wanted to see what you all have done with yours.

She's not going anywhere! :D She started out as a Cam 9 blank, and I took from the other BK knives what I liked and came up with this.

I'm as enthusiastic about Ethan's blades as the next guy, but I know, post-Camillus, what he went through to get his designs back, and I wouldn't step on his toes (or Ka-Bar's) when it comes to those design rights.

I've owned four Brutes--two Blackjacks and two Camilluses. I still have one of each, but I agree with Ethan. The 9 will out-chop the Brute all day long. I have six 9's at last count.

I can see the concern and confussion but trust me when I say no ill intent or stepping on Ethan's or Ka-Bar Toes, Nothing in the works
Started the thread for Mod idea's for the Brute
Bladite showed a small recurve that gave me an idea Note not a knife idea
Have a close family friend that has import business and ties to manufactures in twain
I have no experience with the manufacturing of knives, Note my idea does not have a knife, or 1 of ethan's design's in it
sometimes when you see something it gives you an idea, does not have to be related and can see how post went in different direction than what was intended
I apologize to All as I did and do not intend to Step on anyone's toes
I am simply a Nut Of Knives and Ethan's Blades have a special place in my modest collection of steel
Please accept my Apologizes Mr Becker and Ka-Bar if any of this has upset anyone, as I know what may have seemed to be implied but has no Knife or related design's in the idea I got from Bladite
I am just a Knife Enthusiast both user and collector that tries to share both Steel and Knowledge with all interested
Hopefully thread can get back on track and show some Brute's with and without Mod's

No kinda not really. So I had my lines scribed into it but not ground all the way. 1066Vic helped me grind it the rest of the way out at the boss's shop a few years ago.

Consumption only almost 3 years now
Very Lucky with the consumption
Many will not understand my decisions or my Mods, Their problem
Enjoy steel a little more than most ok alot more
Keep an eye out and let me know what you think not that it matters

Expect some very original Shapes of Ethan's Steel Modified by yours Truley
Believe have a little Talent, not quit sure as have not modified a Knife as of yet, modified many of usable tools for other than intended uses so should be interesting

Here is my Brute that I bought many years ago, the original sheath was leather. I bought the replacement sheath from Camillus, if memory serves me.

I carried it a lot while working for the forest service, mainly using it as a short machete.
