The brute is a great blade but no match for the 9... Would love to see a 9 with a bit of a recurve though... Just saying
Nice !!!!
Can't be explained better!!! Thanks for helping nuto.I'm gonna attempt a translation of the OP....Ethan thinks the Brute was fugly and unwieldy; that's why he came up with the KING. The BK-1 is never coming back into production. Nuto respectfully disagrees (I'm interpreting here) about the "fugly and unwieldy" bit; LOVES the Brute. Also great love for Ethan and Becker knives, but like a 3rd grader with a crush, expresses his love by stabbing crushee with a pencil and saying inappropriate things......
Advice to nutoknives: please have someone with a command of the language edit your posts so that nobody misinterprets your love of all things Becker as some kind of deranged obsession.....
Somebody is a little obsessed...and judging from the post, was perhaps a bit lubricated at the time.
Neither of which are necessarily bad things.
Smexy!
That is sick!!!! If you ever decide to sell let me know.
Cheers

nutoknives, please note that the posts above do not match up well with the posts below. Above, it seems you would like to (or maybe even already have) put something in process. Below, you play it off as enthusiasm. I hope you understand the confusion and concern these posts have created.
I'm as enthusiastic about Ethan's blades as the next guy, but I know, post-Camillus, what he went through to get his designs back, and I wouldn't step on his toes (or Ka-Bar's) when it comes to those design rights.
I've owned four Brutes--two Blackjacks and two Camilluses. I still have one of each, but I agree with Ethan. The 9 will out-chop the Brute all day long. I have six 9's at last count.
Really cool Nick! You do that urself?
Nutoknives, any pics of mods you have recently done so we know what to expect?
