BUCK 110 Auto

^thanks for posting that. my memory failed. was thinking drop point but its clip and i called it pro but its elite. sorry for the mistakes y'all.

Thanks for the input. Found an online dealer with no restrictions and seemed like a normal to good retail price. Would have liked to use bcci discount, but whataya gonna do? Gotta have it.
 
I'm holding out hope for an aluminum frame...the action is underwhelming with the weight of a brass or nickel frame imho.

For those of you that have a Buck 110 Auto, how does the lock up compare to non-auto versions? I've had my auto for about 3 weeks and there is considerable blade play compared to my non auto 110's. Debating whether to send it in under warranty. I just hate the thought of being without it for 6 - 8 weeks.

Got one on pre-order. Hope they ship soon. They ain't cheap but the S30V and G10 make it better. The specs a few posts up list it as a bit heavier than the brass. Why? Apparently you have too weigh it yourself. In the LT thread it' been mentioned the true weight is more than Buck claims.

Mine locks up as tight as my non-autos. I'll ask, is this a conversion or the factory 110 auto...sorry? Preston

Thanks Preston. My 110 is a factory auto and definitely not as solid as my non-autos. Looks like it's going in for repair.

I received an email from a retailer telling me that they had the 110 Auto Elite in stock, but when I got there, it was only available to reserve. So, I don't know if they sold out or never had any? I got all excited for nothing!!
 
I just got me elite. I like it but it has considerable blade play. At least a 16th of play at the tip. Just wondering what to do.

only see a few options. live with it, return to dealer for replacement and ask for one tighter, send to buck under warranty.

not sure what buck will do meaning if theyll mail it back to you without proof of being a special class of citizen such as police firefighter etc or military or one armed man etc under federal antique law? guess youll have to ask buck to find out?
