Sheet. You guys are making me out to be a softee. Well, what the hell, I feel for the gent. I know how great that 110AG S30V is...and if a guy wants one that bad...I guess I should help the guy out if I can. That's my good deed for the year. It won't happen again ;)
...
goose can tell ya about how any of the other new steels work
he has several that he rotates on useing
like bg42 the new SS damascuss 154 ats34 ect...
Truth be told, I hate sharpening the ATS34, BG, and 154 steels. Only cuz I suck at sharpening and haven't ordered my diamond Lansky gear yet.
BUT, of those, it's a photo finish on the S30V and BG-42.

The one knife that keeps on keeping on is that Damascus. Wicked sharp and easy to tune up.
Though I have been rotating it with my 880SP Strider Buck 154CM for the overall sturdiness of that knife, my favorite EDC steel is my 110NS SS Damascus Koa.
Anyone wanna see a pic of it???? :)

Dear Dave!I envy you for your pos attitude, and for your good trust in people. But I'd like to remind you what I wroght in my post:The first time I sended an E-mail to Buck custom shop it was 6 months ago,and I have not recived a reply till today.
But end of the day,if I get any reply in the future,I'll place an order for another nice Buck this is for shure.Even if my problem with the S30V has been solved, thanks to Goose!

i feel rest assured that you will hear from them soon...
and it is easy for me ....
i bought my first 110 in 1967 as an electicians helper ..
my master electrician said i need a good knife and said that was it...
i spent 10 or 12 $ on it... i made 1.25 $ an hr ...
so i spent over a days wages on it..
i had it two weeks and droped it and the master electrician i was workning with said he did not see it at the bottom of the pole i was up on..
i bought another and did not loose it put my name on it i did jest in case...
the master i worked for later showed up with one jest like it...
but i have owned one ever sence then... navy construction high voltage nuclear plants ... have never broke a blade my self and have cut metal banding on 2 inch pipe... and sharpen it and pop off hair...
bought a 124 in 71 to take to nam also... did not make nam but still have that 124

yep i am a buck knife fan... never met any of them tell i went to atlanta either...
as bucksway said " bro ,,, you are hanging with a better class of people now..."
and they are... the people and products are great...
my buck knife - not jest a relabile tool - its a trusted friend ...
made by MY friends... i trust my life to what they make and
would let joe or any of them i know babby sit my grand daughter !

they call me decaff for a reason...

yep no one is perfict...
poop happens...
its the clean up that make all the diffrence!...
they try hard to make right any mess that happens..
harder then me that is for sure...
some times i jest say what i think ...
most times i try to act like they do ...

yea that goose is a power puff softy thats for sure!
check your emails ... for a few days! ;);)

I can see you got a relationship with BUCK for a lifetime. This is an amesing. You are part of the family, you can rely on there product, and there community. But I'm just about to get in the family. You got your first buck in 67,I was not even born,I got my first a year ago.And as I try to get in I feel buck business runing very well, even without me.Make a different shipping calculation, useing diff shipping, then the regular one,do more paper work? For what?Sell 1 piece of knife, does not wort the hassle.Sorry but that is what I think.
But could be an other version as well.
Oh let see one guy from a small country dying to get our knife.Lets check.....
Well in this country we dont have even retailer,so lets make the knife for him.
Let the knife be our ambassador,in his country, announcing, our herritage, our tradition, and quality.
Maybe this day will come soon!

Don't worry karesz68, sometimes I have a hard time with Dave's english. It is not really English, but some mix of West Virginia Hill Billy speak and random letters.:D
