Buck 110 damascus blade

Don't worry karesz68, sometimes I have a hard time with Dave's english. It is not really English, but some mix of West Virginia Hill Billy speak and random letters.:D
wow he is closer ta understand'ns den most is! deep south an cajan mixed in dar now ... i savy back behind door.. savy.. :p
What do you mean?
Goose doing something wrong, helping me out with that order?
Sorry but the english just my second langauge. So for me really hard to understand slengs, abravations ,or riddles, that is why I dont know what is the meaning of your post

Well that should have been typed as
Powder Puff , that is one of those soft things in a ladies cosmetic case to put light make up powder on her face to look good
Softy is a reference to sweet ice cream that is soft served in a hard cone,,,
Total American slang meaning ….
Rough and tough on the out side and you would not want to up set him
yet in reality a very nice guy to those that get to know him
and that he would do any thing for you!
Why I could even get a ride on his motor cycle or ‘scoot’ !

Humm ‘ard ta read….
I learned to type in school in ’66 and was fair to good at it….
I took typing as that was were the cute girls were and
I did not want to do sewing in other classes..
Now my finger control is not very good due to nerve damage from broken wrist and hands due to an accident in the military…that and some spelling issues on top ….

In testing they found that most Americans can read a sentence with badly miss spelled words … this due to the way English is used here,,, and some advertizeing uses this as a way to get people to look at the product..
Hair Kut = hair cut as the two letters have the same sound
Some that have very good spelling talent have great difficulty in reading what I type…

The other is that here there are regions that have different ways of saying a word…
The sentence in the deep south of this country of “ you sit right here” is spoken and sounds like “ya chit rat cheer” … some times to be funny I “ type with an accent” and use letters so that if said slow or fast would sound like some one else said them…
Not unlike rap or gang music relies a lot on miss pronounced words to make a rime …

Well they used to joke of needing a “Dave decoder ring” to read what I type….
Again a Americana reference to one of the toys found in a box of Cracker Jacks,,,
So if’n ya hears one o de boys saying he forgot his decoder ring ya knows dat he had a rit hard time readn what I wrot..

Realy .. if you think you have missed the meaning of some thing I typed please email me and I can explain… in the line of work I did many time I worked with those for whom English was not what they grew up with…. I have found many ways to explain culture based words to those that have not lived here….

Thanks for the explanation!Makes everything clear!Sorry for yor injury.Because you so good in abravations, can yo explain me what the EDC knife is?I could not figure that out till now!

LOL Karesz68...

Decaf Dave is trying to get people to think I'm a nice guy. That is what he meant. :)

da yesss de americans dicton !
lol = laughing out loud
roflol= rolling on floor laughing out loud
Either of the above with the addation of MAO behind is added as my as- off
ttfn is ta ta for now … some thing tiger in whiny the poo story says
re = roll eyes as a being sarcastic as is “what ever “
another is the addition of NOT! to reverse the meaning of the previous statement…
as in “ wow I love that buck makes knives out side the usa…. Not!”
any thing in capital letters is emphasized such as very can be Very or VERY or with extra letters is also emphasized such as verrrry or wooooooow instead of wow…
None of this will translate in to another language…
Here if you see kids using ‘pop’ it means “parents over shoulder”
There are a range of emotional icons also other then the smiles
But they are not used here and as the smiles become more used the others are used less…
But I guess I bore you with this …. Or not? :D
