Sorry for the crappy photo, loosing the light

Plum
WAY too much information!

I'm liking my new knife! Need to get image of Dave out of my head..

Fritz & 9,

I had to check the calendar on the wall to see if it was indeed April first. You each need to give yourselves a brownie right now...

What, nobody ordered the ceramic option? :D

No brownies for me oregon, I'm tring to maintain my figure so I can look like the mental picture of Plum that ohen has in his head:p:D

OK, an issue has already surfaced. If you got more than one, you'd better check them all. I got three and here's the first one I checked. This is as far as it snaps closed by itself. I have to push it the rest of the way closed. It makes a very satisfying "click" when it closes to this point, but that's as far as it goes on it's own.

I know you shouldnt have to do this but: Clean it in hot hot water with soap and then dry. Oil the heck out of the pivot, and wipe it clean. Let it set, spine down, heavily oiled for a day on a rag or papertowels, clean it again and put some oil in the pivot and it will be good. IMHO

I have a product by Birchwood-Casey called Gun Scrubber.
It's a solvent degreaser and works really well for a dirty knife. Follow with a little RemOil on the pivot and back of lock bar and locking notch on blade and your good.

Mine snaps and pops like a gator. It unfortunetly has blade play closed and open.

Jack sent me an email that some multiple orders were sent seperately. He didn't say why.

:D:thumbup::thumbup:
I got all four that I ordered: Three paperstone 110s and one 2010 BCCI 110 club knife (buffalo & ironwood). All open and close nicely, great collection, no problems. The ironwood is a beauty. I think it looks to me like a very nice user rather than a display knife. I'm liking all of 'em.

As to no S30V mark, remember that Paul Bos is no longer at Buck. That S30V stamp went along with the Bos logo. Maybe they haven't made up a new HT logo stamp yet???

No complaints from me in any case. One or two of these paperstones will be gifts for people who will likely be impressed with the paperstone concept but who may not know S30V from HIV. :D

P.S. only 125 2010 BCCI 110 club knives made! (The buffalo/ironwood one) Maybe it's not a user after all!:thumbup:

Mine just arrived and I'm very, very pleased with it. Question, I ordered and paid for two but only received one. Anyone else not get a their complete order?

Yes, I ordered 4 and only received 3.

Eric

Order two as well but only got one. I wonder if Buck did a partial delivery and Jack is getting everyone a single knife now?

I think the confusion here MAY be that the knife that did not arrive is the annual BCCI club knife with the etched blade, and I do not think those have been shipped out yet.

PS: Like your avatar Flat!!

I didn't order the etched blade knife. All four were the Paperstone. Got 1 in one box, and 2 in another box.

Nope, they have been shipped, at least in my case. I got my BCCI buffalo/ironwood with etched blade in the same box as my 3 paperstones.

Sue, but Wolf said he got his 'Club Knife' as well .
I got my BCCI paperstone as well . I really, really like this knife !! Can't wait to use it . Has no blade wobble and sounds like a bowl of Rice Crispy's . ie. plenty of snap, crackle, pop . I like the metal frame folders the best . I'll need to sharpen mine . Someone will post as to why no 'S30V' stamping . But hey, we got them a month early . Now, wheres me a coyote to skin ? DM ;)
