Post #57 shows mockups and I believe the clip point was the winner in the poll. About a month ago, SK said one of their upcoming projects is:
-Buck 110 Lite
-CPM-154 Blade Steel
-Red Handles
-Stonewashed Blade
-Clip Point
-Special Red and Black Nylon Sheath exclusive for SK and this knife

Sounds awesome!
Thanks!

Thank you for the chance and opportunity to have input on these knives. Very cool and highly appreciated!

Do you have a target price yet?

Do you think there will be any issues with blade play/flex due to the plastic/nylon handles?

My limited experience with Buck CPM 154 has been great!

I have a 110 LT. There is no flex in the handle at all. It's rock solid. The only play is what's normal in most folding knives: Practically none.

Over half way through May.....going to open up the preorders?
I don't know if you are aware of it, but Stephen/SKBlades, is up to his eyeballs and doing a bang up job over in the Traditional Folders and Fixed Blade section running the polls for the Blade Forum 2018 knife. It will be a unique Buck 301 when all the polls are done. Preston

Maybe it's just a matter of the keyboard doesn't convey the intent of the post, but I am just excited about a new budget friendly knife with improved steel....

I was unaware of the other business, but based off of previous dealings with skblades and the eta he provided I figured we were getting close to preorder time and was seeking an update. Sorry if I've offended you with my enthusiasm. It was unintentional.

I'm not offended by your enthusiasm (but I'm not Steve) - heck, I've budgeted for both the 301 SFO and the 110 LT! I have plenty of Bucklites in the 422 (112) size, but I've never owned one in the 110 size - and I can't wait to get my hands on one. OH

I am also budgeting for the 301 forum knife and this 110 LT.

I used to have a 110 Ecolite that I gave to a friend that needed a good knife, and I have missed it ever since. I have been looking for a good lightweight 110 to replace it, and I think this is the one to do the job.

Nope, your good, I'm never offended by enthusiasm and I'm sure Stephen wouldn't be either. I just wanted you to be aware of some circumstances that may or may not effect the preorder time frame. Preston
