The red stonewashed brings back memories. Many years ago I had Buch 422 lite. It accompanied me on many hunts, and field dressed it's share of game. Like a fool, I sold it years ago.

I've never used a CPM 154 Buck..I had a few over the years but always ended up giving them as presents to family. I remember a Vantage ..I'm getting one of these Steve ! The sheith is a bold move but I like it ! Can you make the 112 version in yellow? That would be a nice pair.

Just confirmed that it is a Lanyard hole at the back of the knife for those that were wondering.

The 112 LT is a summer release according to Mr Hubbard ..It would totally awesome for SK to have the first LE !! A yellow and black 112 LT would be a sellout very, very quickly. Make it a drop point, even in 420, and I think 250 would be sold out in less than 30 days..Steve is it possible for Buck to incorporate your logo in the handle? I am really excited about the 112 LT from a collector's viewpoint because of the price point is low ,colors seems easily changed , inserts should be possible and most of all it's a new generation of light weight knives that I hope has a long run for Buck. I think it will compare well to the 422 and 426 and SK can be THE source for collectable versions right from the start.

Everybody that wants one should get there order in quickly..Since the price point is low and this is the first LE plus only 250 made I think it's one that will sell quick. .
Cool sheith and color it might be hit on the bay.

250 won't dissapears overnight. I will be looking for them from SK as soon as they are built.

I like the features of the red handle 110 with cmp154 blade. i.e. a sleeved lanyard hole I cannot resist. DM
You mean a lanyard hole with some sort of insert? Because that's not a feature of the LT handle (at least not on my basic black version).

Zieg, yes. It's a sleeve that is peened or in some manner the sleeve is stressed/ flexed to stay in the hole. It could act as a rear support pin.
Your second point. No, it was not. I say this because this was also Not a feature of the 3rd generation Buck -lites. I have a 1993 Buck
lite from the Workman series. These were one piece handles, very light and have a small lanyard hole but no sleeve. I think this design is
even better than the 90's Buck lites. Plus, some of those had 425M blades. A up grade steel from today. But not close to cmp154 steel.
Something else worth noting about the earlier Buck-lites was they had thin blades. Which really cut nice. A thin point is great for splinter
removal. Not so good for opening cans of beans but mine worked for that too. We'll see how these come out. I my give mine a mirror polish.

Cool. I thought this was to be a red handled and blade improved version of the current Buck 110 LT, which does not have a sleeve in the lanyard hole. But I'm good with whatever SK comes up with!

In this topic, page 11 post 206 Jeff gives an answer to a item I've wondered about with the Bucklites.
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/new-buck-110-lt.1543852/page-11
It had to do with divot or holes pressed in the handles, (from molds) seen on the inside blade well. I had thought this was to further reduce weight. But not so. I had seen this on 1991 Bucklite & Selector handles. My 1988 handles are a solid piece. My 1993 third generation Bucklite handles went back to the solid type. I'm thinking this one will be the solid type also. DM

Another item I had wondered about with Bucklites is blade play they develop over time from use. DM
