Many of us here talk about liking the drop point over the clip. I'm the same way. I just stacked the Bass Pro 110 clip blade (cpm154 steel) on top of the SK offering with s90v steel drop point and blue micarta 110 and there is not much difference in the two. If you say, eye appeal one
over the other, -- I'd say yes, in the eye of the beholder. On that point I usually go with the drop point. In the tip strenght I'd give the drop the
nod. But in range of function I'd go with the clip point. Like in cleaning fish, digging in to tight areas & cleaning out a fin. Birds can be the same
way, cleaning a tight spot. On splinter removal it's the clip. I've dug big holes in my hand removing a splinter with a drop point. Whereas the clip would have made a smaller hole. The blades stacked look the same. Just the top removed toward the point on the clip. This creates a different point. My view/ opinion. DM
